Job Summary

Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

- Configure and manage Cisco/HPE switches, routers, and wireless access points.

- Manage and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls (FortiGate, Sophos, Cisco ASA, etc.).

- Configure and maintain VLANs, Routing Protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, Static Routing), NAT, VPN, ACLs, and DNS.

- Monitor network performance using tools such as Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG, or Zabbix.

- Ensure network security through firewall policies, access controls, antivirus, and patch management.

- Manage Windows Server and basic Linux administration.

- Configure and maintain VMware virtual environments.

- Troubleshoot network, server, internet connectivity, VPN, and end-user issues.

- Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for internet links, hardware, and support.

- Perform network health checks, preventive maintenance, and firmware upgrades.

- Maintain documentation for network topology, IP addressing, configurations, and SOPs.

- Provide L2/L3 technical support and participate in incident resolution.

- Ensure regular backup of network configurations and maintain disaster recovery readiness.

- Support IT asset management and inventory tracking.

Requirements

- Robust knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, VLAN, STP, VTP,



NAT, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and ACL.

- Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches.

- Experience with enterprise firewall administration (FortiGate/Sophos/Cisco).

- Good understanding of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.

- Experience with VMware virtualization.

- Knowledge of network monitoring and log analysis tools.

- Familiarity with Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint security solutions.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Network Administration or IT Infrastructure.

- Experience in Data Center, Enterprise, or System Integrator environments will be preferred.

Qualifications

- B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.

- CCNA certification is mandatory.

- CCNP or Fortinet NSE certification will be an added advantage.

- ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
