Job Overview
Lumenci is looking for a NetSuite Specialist to own and administer the organization's NetSuite ERP environment. This role is responsible for configuring and maintaining NetSuite, building reports and dashboards, automating recurring processes, developing custom scripts (SuiteScript, workflows, and saved searches), and managing integrations with other business systems. You'll work closely with Finance, People Ops, Operations, and other functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions, ensuring the platform runs reliably and evolves with the company's needs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer the day-to-day NetSuite environment, including user roles, permissions, forms, custom fields, records, and system configuration.
- Design, build, and maintain custom reports, saved searches, KPIs, and dashboards across Finance, Operations, and People Ops to support accurate, real-time business reporting.
- Develop, test, and manage NetSuite workflows (SuiteFlow) to automate approvals, notifications, task assignments, and other recurring business processes.
- Design, write, and maintain custom scripts (SuiteScript 1.0/2.0 — User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, RESTlets) to extend and customize NetSuite functionality.
- Build, configure, and maintain custom records, forms, transaction types, and workflows to support evolving business requirements.
- Manage and support integrations between NetSuite and other platforms (payroll, HRIS, CRM, ATS, banking, or other third-party tools) using SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST).
- Own end-to-end integration health - monitor data flows, troubleshoot failures, and ensure data accuracy and consistency across connected systems.
- Support core NetSuite modules (GL, AR/AP or project accounting as applicable) with configuration, troubleshooting,
and enhancement requests.
- Maintain data integrity through mass data imports/updates (CSV import, SuiteScript, or ODBC), deduplication, and periodic data audits.
- Provide L1/L2 support to end users — triage tickets, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with NetSuite support or implementation partners for complex escalations.
- Support month-end and period-close activities by ensuring reports, reconciliations, saved searches, and automations run accurately and on schedule.
- Manage NetSuite security and compliance, including role-based access control, audit trails, and segregation-of-duties reviews.
- Create and maintain system documentation — configuration guides, process runbooks, and end-user training material.
- Conduct user training and enablement sessions to drive adoption of NetSuite features and best practices across teams.
- Partner with Finance, Revenue Operations, Delivery Operations and Delivery to gather requirements, scope enhancements, and prioritize the NetSuite roadmap.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience administering and configuring NetSuite.
- Proven experience building custom reports, saved searches, and dashboards in NetSuite.
- Working experience with SuiteScript (1.0/2.0), SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk/REST APIs.
- Experience designing and managing NetSuite workflows and process automations.
- Experience integrating NetSuite with third-party platforms (payroll, HRIS, CRM, or similar systems).
- Solid understanding of core NetSuite modules (Finance/GL, procurement, or operations, as applicable).
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- NetSuite certification (e.g., SuiteFoundation, Administrator) is a plus
