About Glory Shipmanagement

Glory Shipmanagement is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Naval Architect to join our technical team and support vessel design, stability, structural, and technical requirements across our fleet.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out vessel stability, hydrostatic, and structural calculations as required.
- Review and prepare stability booklets, loading conditions, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Support vessel modifications, conversions, repairs, and new-build projects.
- Coordinate with Classification Societies, shipyards, consultants, and statutory authorities on technical matters.
- Review technical drawings and ensure compliance with applicable Class, Flag State, and statutory requirements.
- Assist with drydock, repair, and vessel modification projects from a naval architecture perspective.
- Provide technical support for vessel inspections, surveys, and condition assessments.




- Prepare technical reports and documentation and assist management with technical evaluations and recommendations.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Degree in Naval Architecture / Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in ship design, shipbuilding, ship repair, ship management, or a related marine industry.
- Positive knowledge of vessel stability, hydrostatics, structural calculations, and marine drawings.
- Familiarity with Classification Society rules, Flag State requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Proficiency in relevant naval architecture/design software and MS Office.
- Strong analytical, technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates residing in or around Vashi / Navi Mumbai, or within a convenient commuting distance from our office, will be preferred.
