Role & responsibilities

- 6+ years of professional software development experience, with 4+ years building production React Native apps
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and React Native fundamentals (hooks, navigation, state management)
- Experience with native mobile development concepts and the ability to write or debug native modules (Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin/Java)
- Solid understanding of mobile app performance profiling and optimization
- Experience shipping apps to the App Store and Google Play, including release management and versioning
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or similar data-fetching patterns
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, Zustand, or similar)
- Strong testing habits (unit, integration, and/or E2E testing with tools like Jest, Detox, or Maestro)
- Comfortable working in an agile workplace with CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and experience mentoring other engineers
