Role ML Engineer(3-5years)

Role summary: We are looking for a hands-on ML Engineer with 3+ years of experience to build, deploy and maintain data-driven ML solutions on Google Cloud. The ideal candidate has strong BigQuery SQL skills, experience integrating Google Places API for location intelligence, and practical MLOps experience to move models into production.

Key responsibilities:

- Design, develop and deploy ML models and pipelines to support product features and analytics.
- Extract, transform and analyze large datasets in BigQuery; implement performant SQL and data modeling patterns.
- Integrate and enrich datasets using Google Places API (place search, details, Geocoding/Reverse Geocoding, Place Photos) and handle rate-limiting, batching, caching and billing considerations.
- Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines (batch/stream).
- Implement model training,



evaluation and continuous retraining pipelines (CI/CD for ML).

Must-have qualifications

- 3-5 years of qualified experience in machine learning, data engineering or related role.
- Strong Python skills and ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch).
- Proficient with Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery (SQL performance tuning, partitioning, clustering, cost awareness).
- Hands-on experience integrating and using Google Places API (and/or Maps Platform APIs) in production workflows.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices: model packaging, CI/CD, reproducibility and monitoring.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, authentication (API keys/OAuth), rate limits and error handling.
