Role Description This is a full time remote role for a MERN Stack Developer. The MERN Stack Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing RESTful APIs, building responsive user interfaces, integrating third-party services, and ensuring application performance, scalability, and security. The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions, writing clean and testable code, and participating in code reviews.



The developer will also troubleshoot issues, optimize existing features, contribute to deployment pipelines, and stay current with best practices and emerging technologies in full-stack JavaScript development.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust MERN stack skills, including React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
- Candidates should possess front-end development skills, such as JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI frameworks (e.g., Material UI, Bootstrap).
- Candidates should possess back-end and API development skills, including RESTful services, authentication/authorization (JWT/OAuth), and integration with third-party APIs.
- Candidates should possess database and cloud-related skills, such as schema design, query optimization, and familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Candidates should possess software engineering skills, including version control (Git), unit/integration testing, debugging, and understanding of CI/CD practices.
- Candidates should possess collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, containerization (Docker), or microservices architecture is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
