Qualification : Candidate should have Master in Social work from a recognized Institution / University (candidates with correspondence degree shall not be entertained).

Experience : Preference shall be given to candidates having 1- 2 years experience.

- The Medical Social Worker works closely with patients, their families, and healthcare teams to assess and address the psychosocial needs related to medical conditions and treatments. The role involves offering emotional support, providing counselling, connecting patients to resources, and assisting with discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home or another care setting.
- Provide crisis intervention and supportive counselling to patients and their families to help them cope with illness,



hospitalization, and changes in medical conditions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient interactions, assessments, and interventions.
- Accompanies the health team for home-visits in the community and carries out socio-clinical assessment of the families in the field practice areas.
- Accompanies the under graduate medical students for field trips and family studies in the community

Job Types: Full time, Permanent, Fresher Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
