Role Description This full-time, on-site Mechanical Fitter role is based at the Ludhiana facility.

The Mechanical

Fitter will assemble, install, align, and maintain mechanical components and machinery used in metal fabrication and industrial automation. Daily tasks include interpreting technical drawings, performing mechanical fitting and adjustments, checking equipment for wear or defects, and assisting with machine setup and changeovers. The role also involves routine maintenance activities, identifying mechanical issues, supporting repair work, and collaborating with technicians and engineers to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Fitter is expected to follow workplace safety standards and contribute to a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Fitting and working with Machinery for installation, alignment, and mechanical assembly.
- Candidates should possess skills in Machining and operating workshop tools for fabrication, modification, and precision work.
- Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and reducing equipment downtime.
- Relevant technical qualification (e.g., ITI, diploma in mechanical or related field) is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and basic engineering documents.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices and proper use of tools and equipment.
- Previous experience as a mechanical fitter or in a similar role within manufacturing or industrial automation is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
