We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Unit Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team. The role is responsible for ensuring the effective execution of mechanical maintenance activities to support reliable, secure, and efficient plant operations. The incumbent will play a key role in maintaining equipment performance, driving maintenance excellence, supporting project execution, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

This position requires a hands-on engineering professional with strong technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively across functions to enhance plant reliability and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for plant equipment and utilities.
- Improve equipment reliability through effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Support mechanical engineering and CAPEX project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and maintenance standards.
- Maintain engineering documentation and support audit requirements.




- Drive 5S, housekeeping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Optimize maintenance costs through effective planning and resource utilization.
- Support team development through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (B.E. / B.Tech)

Experience
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, engineering, or plant operations within a manufacturing or process industry environment.
