Key Responsibilities

Sketch Sheet Creation

- Create sketch sheets for fabricated steel structures using Autodesk Inventor.

- Prepare documentation following company engineering standards.

- Generate sketches for individual steel plates and fabricated components.

Manufacturing Drawing Creation

Prepare manufacturing drawings containing:

- Dimensions

- GD&T; and tolerances

- Fits

- Weld seam information

- Assembly sequence

- Welding sequence

- Machining details

- Manufacturing notes

Develop fabrication drawings that enable production teams to manufacture components accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

- Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical design.

- Robust proficiency in Autodesk Inventor.

- Experience in fabricated steel structures, heavy equipment, cranes, or structural fabrication.

- Good understanding of welding symbols, fabrication drawings, and machining.

- Ability to think from a fabricator's perspective.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of ISO drawing standards

- GD&T;

- Fabrication processes

- Welding processes
