Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Md Medicine Physician role based in Shirur. The physician will provide outpatient and inpatient care, including diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions, conducting physical examinations, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests. Day-to-day responsibilities include prescribing medications and therapies, creating treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and maintaining accurate medical records.

The role involves collaborating with other clinicians, counseling patients and families on disease management and prevention,



and participating in clinical meetings and case discussions. The physician may also support emergency care when required, contribute to hospital protocols, and engage in continuing medical education activities.

Qualifications Recognized MD in General Medicine (or equivalent) with valid registration from the appropriate medical council.

Solid clinical diagnostic and treatment skills in internal medicine, including management of common acute and chronic conditions.

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and interpreting laboratory, imaging, and other investigative reports.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Ability to maintain accurate electronic or paper medical records and adhere to clinical documentation standards.

Commitment to ethical medical practice, patient confidentiality, and adherence to relevant laws and clinical guidelines.

Experience in hospital or clinic settings, including exposure to emergency and critical care, is preferred.

Willingness to participate in continuous professional development, quality improvement, and community health initiatives.
