Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead end-to-end export logistics, shipping, operations, documentation, buyer coordination, and commercial negotiations for tea exports.

The role requires close coordination with estates, warehouses, shipping lines, freight forwarders, testing laboratories, and international buyers to ensure seamless execution of export shipments while maintaining statutory and customer compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end export logistics and shipping operations.
- Oversee export documentation, contracts, shipment planning, and execution.
- Coordinate with buyers for quality approvals, purchase orders, shipment schedules,

and claims.
- Plan container allocation, rake movements, and shipment schedules from Kolkata and

Guwahati.
- Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, warehouses, inspection agencies, and

testing laboratories.
- Monitor pesticide residue (MRL) testing, quality compliance, etc.
- Track export payments, ECGC reporting, shipment status, and buyer-specific

compliance data.
- Negotiate freight rates and commercial terms with shipping lines, transporters, and

logistics service providers.
- Ensure timely renewal of export-related licences and statutory compliances.
- Prepare and monitor weekly and periodic MIS reports related to shipment plans, export

payments,



stuffing schedules, and shipment trackers.
- Supervise domestic logistics, warehouse operations, and vendor performance to

ensure timely dispatches and cost efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Graduate/Postgraduate with relevant experience in Export Logistics, Shipping, Supply

Chain, or International Trade.
- 8–12 years of experience in export operations, preferably in the tea, FMCG, agriculture

or commodity export sector.
- Solid knowledge of export documentation, shipping procedures, customs regulations,

international trade practices, and logistics management.
- Experience in handling freight negotiations, shipping lines, freight forwarders,

warehouses, and export vendors.
- Excellent coordination, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.

Preferred Industry: Tea / Plantation / Agri-Commodity Exports / FMCG Exports

Salary & Designation:
- Grade – Manager – Experience 13 years & above: CTC- 16-18 lacs Lpa (negotiable)
- Grade – Deputy Manager – Experience 8-12 years: CTC- 10-14 lacs Lpa
