Role Description The Manufacturing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Baddi, responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations in a rigid packaging workplace. This role includes planning and coordinating production activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and optimizing workflows to meet output, cost, and safety targets.
The Manufacturing
Manager will supervise production teams, monitor performance metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives across processes and equipment.
Key responsibilities include managing production schedules,
collaborating with maintenance, supply chain, and quality teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements. The role also involves analyzing production data, resolving operational issues, and driving best practices to support scalable, sustainable manufacturing outcomes.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Production Planning and Production Management to coordinate schedules, resources, and output effectively.
Proficiency in Manufacturing Operations and Operations Management to oversee end-to-end plant activities and optimize efficiency.
Experience in Quality Control to maintain product standards, reduce defects, and support continuous improvement.
Proven leadership abilities, including team supervision, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Knowledge of safety, regulatory, and environmental compliance within a manufacturing setting.
Ability to use data and KPIs for decision-making, problem-solving, and process optimization.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
Experience in ISBM (PET) manufacturing is must
