About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Slope Protection to lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of slope stabilization and protection works for large-scale open-cast mining operations. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in geotechnical engineering, slope stability, and mine infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead planning and execution of slope stabilization activities.
- Supervise protection works for mine highwalls, waste dumps, haul roads, embankments, and cuttings.
- Implement rock bolting, soil nailing, shotcrete, anchoring, gabion walls, geotextiles, and drainage systems.
- Conduct geotechnical inspections and slope stability assessments.
- Monitor slopes using inclinometers, piezometers, crack meters, and survey systems.
- Coordinate with mining, geology, civil, survey, safety, and contractor teams.
- Ensure compliance with DGMS guidelines and statutory safety standards.
- Monitor contractor performance, quality, timelines,



and project costs.
- Prepare technical reports, stability assessments, dashboards, and risk mitigation plans.

Required Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering.
- M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred.

Experience Required

- 8–12 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience in slope stabilization and geotechnical engineering.
- Experience in open-cast mining, highways, railways, dams, tunneling, or large earthwork projects.
- Experience in mine highwalls, overburden dumps, and embankment stabilization will be an added advantage.
