Job Purpose The Finance Manager SAP FICO & IT will be responsible for managing the organization's finance and accounting operations while serving as the key functional owner of SAP FICO. The role will drive finance process automation, ERP optimization, digital transformation initiatives, and ensure seamless integration between Finance and IT to support productive business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounts

- Oversee General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Banking, and Cost Accounting.
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

SAP FICO Management

- Act as the functional lead for SAP FI/CO modules.
- Configure and maintain SAP FI and CO modules in line with business requirements.
- Manage General Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA, Asset Accounting, and Material Ledger.
- Coordinate with IT teams, SAP consultants, and business users to resolve system issues.
- Lead SAP enhancements, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and system upgrades.
- Develop and implement finance automation initiatives through SAP.





IT & Digital Transformation

- Partner with the IT team to ensure system availability and data integrity.
- Evaluate and implement technology solutions to improve finance processes.
- Support ERP integration with procurement, production, inventory, sales, HR, and payroll systems.
- Drive digital transformation and process automation initiatives within Finance.
- Ensure compliance with information security and internal control requirements.

Financial Planning & Analysis

- Prepare annual operating plans and financial budgets.
- Conduct cost analysis, profitability analysis, and business performance reviews.
- Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling and business insights.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.

Compliance & Audit

- Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards, Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.
- Coordinate statutory, tax, cost, and internal audits.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and governance.
- Maintain documentation for statutory compliance and audit readiness.

Team Management

- Lead and mentor the Finance team.
- Conduct user training on SAP FICO processes.
- Develop SOPs and best practices for finance operations.
