- Lead and manage the QA team, fostering a culture of accountability,

innovation, and adherence to quality protocols.

- Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.

- Develop, configure and implement quality processes matching with industry best practice with an objective to improve production rates and quality of output.

- Assess processes, take measurements, interpret data and implement improvisation of systems and processes.

- Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance.

- Supervise and guide inspectors, technicians and other staff.

- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve production quality issues, emphasizing problem-solving over problem identification.

- Monitor and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for all quality complaints.

- Conduct regular audits, prepare quality reports for senior management, and support board-level reviews on KPIs like PPM, OTD, and customer satisfaction.

- Conduct periodic vendor assessments and give feedback to vendors. Develop

& Train vendors to meet internal quality standards.

- Collaborate with production, engineering, procurement,



and design teams to integrate quality into manufacturing processes, reducing defects and enhancing yield rates.

- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations.

- Liaise with external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, certification bodies, and regulatory agencies, to ensure compliance and resolve quality escalations.

- Champion industry best practices, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing etc.,

while introducing current tools/technologies to optimize factory operations.

- Mentor team members, promote a learning culture, identify training needs and lead training programs on QA.

- Manage QA budgets, CAPEX for testing equipment, and vendor relationships to maintain supply chain quality

Requirements

Technical:

- Familiarity with QA concepts.
- Knowledge about QA standards – ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 etc.
- Certified as an internal auditor for ISO9001.
- Basic Knowledge of Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical items.
- Knowledge about six sigma and other analytics.
- Knowledge about concepts of 5S, Kaizen etc.
- Strong analytical ability.
