Hykon, a leading multi-crore company engaged in Power Electronics, Solar, Li-ion Battery and Electric Vehicles field, is seeking the following personnel for our Power Electronics Segment. Our product portfolio includes – UPS, Inverters, Servo Stabilizers, Solar water heaters, Lithium Ion Battery packs and Electric Three wheelers.

Responsibility

- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with overall company objectives and financial goals.
- Collaborated cross-functionally with Production, R&D;, Finance, and Sales to align procurement with current product development and inventory needs.
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for business operations. This strategic role involves developing and implementing purchasing strategies, managing supplier relationships, optimising procurement processes, and leading a team of purchasing professionals.
- Negotiate favourable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.




- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, cost, and service, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Streamline and standardise procurement processes, from requisition to payment, to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, such as supply disruptions, price volatility, and quality issues.

Qualifications

- MBA (specialisation in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management) / Bachelors/ B tech

Experience

- 5 - 10 years of Experience in Procurement management and Purchase operations
- An Wider experience in Managing end-to-end purchasing processes — from vendor evaluation to contract closure — ensuring the best value for the company at every stage.
- Experience in Mentoring and led a team of purchasing professionals, setting KPIs and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
