About the role:

Pierag is looking for a Manager (Financial Due Diligence Services) to assist in leading, building and growing the vertical. As an FDD skilled, the individual should have extensive experience in financial due diligence including both buy-side and sell-side due diligence services. The executive is expected to display strong technical knowledge in IFRS/Ind AS, have strong data analytics and report writing capabilities, v and also have good working knowledge of Microsoft excel and PowerPoint.

The individual should be hands-on both in the execution of work and overall client management.

While the role will be based in our Gurgaon office,



the individual might be required to travel to other cities within India or to other countries (on a short to medium–term basis) to manage clients and assignments.

Scope of Work:

- Primary client contact on FDD assignments.
- Manage global or domestic client service teams to execute FDD assignments.
- Managing day-to-day workflow and various FDD assignments.
- Liaison and coordinating with other due diligence teams (such as Legal, tax, HR, etc.).
- Execution of FDD assignments.
- Handling information and data ingestion relating to FDD assignments.
- Assist Partner/Director/Associate Director in managing day-to-day workflow of FDD assignments.
- Assist Partner/Director/Associate Director in other tasks related to Deals Advisory Services.
- Manage and develop junior team members.
- Brief and guide junior team members of their tasks.
- Review and supervise the work of junior team members.
- Provide quality assurance on tasks performed by junior team members.
- Prepare draft FDD report/deliverable for review by Partner/ Director/Associate Director.
- Assist in Partner/Director/Associate Director review of the assignment working papers and the draft report.
- Organizing and providing technical training.
- Develop a team of experts in FDD services across levels and ensure the team delivers high–quality work, on time and to budget.
- Identify development opportunities and training needs for high-performing team.

You should be:

- 4 plus years of post–qualification experience (CA/CPA/ACCA) in FDD services.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
- Strong business development and marketing skills.
- Expert knowledge of FDD and business combination transactions.
- Expert knowledge of IFRS and Indian Accounting Standards.
- Extensive hands-on experience in the following areas:
- Conducting FDD; and
- Drafting FDD reports and other related deliverables.
