Duty Hrs : As per schedule intimated from time to time.
The Responsibilities of the Manager on Duty include the following:
- Check for complete staffing of the Hospital and arrange for deficiencies if any by talking to the concerned HODs.
- Counsel the patients on monetary aspects at the time of admission into the critical care areas.
- Inform / involve consultants against DAMA either from ER / Ward
- Coordinating with various departments of the hospital for speedy and better services to the patients.
- Coordinating with transport department, external diagnostic centers, procurement of blood etc.,
- To check on functioning of all diagnostic facilities
- Complete rounds of all the floors and departments
- To coordinate with respective HODs and take decisions in admitting complicated cases.
- Signing of transport slips for pickup and drop of patients / doctors / staff on need basis.
- Night MOD report to be filled in the prescribed format and handover the same to concerned authority next day morning.
- Two rounds of the Hospital is mandatory at night. Observations to be noted and discussed with concerned HODs for necessary corrective action.
- Up-gradation of bed category after verifying the non availability of the room and counseling the patient / patient attenders regarding the difference in pricing.
- Maintaining the consultant on call register and submitting the same during the 1st week to VP commercial.
- Check on cleanliness of the Hospital.
- Maintain records of Number of admissions and discharges
- Preparation of OT list
- Laundry
- Any other task assigned by the management from time to time.
