Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rewari, focused on recent model development for automotive parts. The role involves collaborating with design and engineering teams to translate customer and OEM requirements into manufacturable components, including feasibility studies and design-for-production reviews.

Responsibilities include developing and validating prototypes, coordinating trials on production lines, and optimizing processes for welding, and catalyst-related operations. The role requires close coordination with quality assurance to define specifications, implement testing plans, and resolve technical issues during development. The position also includes documentation of development activities, support for cost and timeline estimation,



participation in cross-functional meetings, and continuous improvement of product and process performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in product design and development, including CAD-based modeling, drawing interpretation, and design for manufacturability.
- Candidates should possess skills in manufacturing process understanding, covering stamping, welding, painting, and catalyst-related processes for automotive components.
- Candidates should possess skills in quality and testing, such as knowledge of automotive standards, root cause analysis, and validation / reliability testing methods.
- Candidates should possess skills in project and stakeholder management, including planning, coordination with cross-functional teams, and effective communication with customers and suppliers.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data, optimize processes, and support cost and efficiency improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering (or related field) is preferred.
- Experience in automotive component development or new model introduction in a manufacturing environment is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with industrial safety practices, environmental standards, and continuous improvement methodologies (such as Kaizen or Lean) is an advantage.
