Key Responsibilities MEP Procurement & Sourcing

- Lead end-to-end procurement of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, IBMS, STP/WTP, DG Sets, Elevators, Pumps, Solar, Building Automation Systems, and other MEP packages.
- Develop procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets.
- Float RFQs/RFPs, evaluate techno-commercial bids, prepare comparative statements, and finalize vendors.
- Ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) and Work Orders (WOs).

Vendor & Contract Management

- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage MEP contractors, OEMs, and strategic suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, LD clauses, PBGs, and contractual obligations.
- Monitor vendor performance through quality, delivery, and commercial KPIs.
- Build long-term relationships with key OEMs and channel partners.

Commercial & Cost Management





- Drive value engineering and cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality.
- Prepare procurement budgets and monitor package-wise cost against approved BOQs.
- Support budgeting, cost planning, and project cash flow forecasting.
- Analyze market trends and recommend alternate products and procurement strategies.

Project Coordination

- Coordinate closely with Design, MEP, Projects, QS, Contracts, QA/QC, and Finance teams.
- Ensure procurement schedules align with construction milestones.
- Resolve technical and commercial issues during procurement and execution.
- Support site teams in material planning, delivery scheduling, and issue resolution.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (MBA/Supply Chain preferred).
- 8–12 years of procurement experience in real estate, construction, or EPC organizations.
- Solid experience procuring MEP packages for residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.
- Hands-on experience in RFQs, techno-commercial negotiations, contract finalization, and vendor management.
- Working knowledge of BOQs, drawings, specifications, and project execution requirements.
