Job Title: Assistant Manager / Manager Ecommerce Merchandise Planning & Inventory

Role Purpose

Drive end-to-end inventory planning for the Ecommerce business by owning inventory health, replenishment planning, molding prioritization, and product availability across marketplaces and Brand.com. Molding prioritization refers to aligning production focus with demand forecasts, inventory gaps, product potential, and business priorities. This is a product-first planning role that requires strong understanding of product performance, customer demand, and commercial opportunitiesnot just reporting and spreadsheet analysis.

The ideal candidate should identify high-performing products, highlight assortment gaps, and translate data into actions that maximize sales, profitability, and inventory productivity.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end inventory planning and replenishment across all Ecommerce channels.
- Prioritize molding based on demand forecasts, inventory gaps, product potential, and business priorities.
- Ensure healthy inventory by monitoring Days of Inventory (DOH), stock ageing, fill rate, stock-outs, sell-through, and excess inventory.
- Develop a deep understanding of the product portfolio to identify hero styles, fast movers, slow movers, declining products, and assortment gaps.
- Work closely with Merchandising, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Category, and Marketplace teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time.
- Recommend replenishment, assortment optimization, liquidation, and production priorities based on product performance and market demand.
- Build and maintain dashboards and trackers to monitor inventory health, lost sales, Online Stock Availability (OSA), short supply,



and key business KPIs.
- Generate leadership-ready insights and recommendations to improve sales, inventory productivity, and working capital efficiency.
- Support recent launches, seasonal planning, and promotional events through proactive inventory and product planning.
- Continuously improve planning processes through automation, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.

Desired Skills & Experience

- 3–6 years of experience in Merchandise Planning, Inventory Planning, Buying, Category Management, or Ecommerce Planning.
- Strong product-first mindset with the ability to understand which products are performing, underperforming, and where assortment gaps exist.
- Good commercial acumen with the ability to convert business insights into inventory and production decisions.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS); Power BI/Tableau knowledge preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with large datasets, ERP systems (SAP preferred), and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Ecommerce environment.
