As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide comprehensive, tailored financial information that enables clients to make informed decisions with confidence.

Core Services is a multidisciplinary team that supports businesses through essential organizational, compliance, and transformation needs. These services are designed to help businesses stay compliant, well-structured, and future-ready, offering support that spans from day-to-day corporate governance to more complex transformation initiatives. Two of the primary services within this group are Compilation Engagements and T2 Corporate Tax Return Preparation.

Responsibilities:

- Lead teams to complete compilation and tax engagements.

- Lead and participate in delivery of training initiatives.

- Deliver industry and technical expertise in accounting and tax through client interactions, reports, technical work, management presentations, and high-quality deliverables

- Manage a portfolio of clients while understanding their business, key risks, and ways to deliver added value; ensure clients’ needs are met and that relationships and accounts grow and develop

- Accountable for engagement planning and scheduling as well as project financials

- Maintain quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address issues relevant to the client’s business, financial entries, and reports

- Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting transparent expectations, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews.

- Build competencies in data analytics reporting and identification of opportunities for relevant client advisory services

- Identify possible areas of improvement to internal process and technologies and collaborate with other internal teams on solutions.

Requirements

Essential Skills

- Proven people management, training, relationship building, and leadership skills

- Strong written English language skills

- Customer service and/or client service experience

Technical Skills

- Strong understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles

- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and software

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor/Master’s in Commerce

- Masters or Diploma in Business Administration
