Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and machinery used in coal trading, coal yards, coal handling, and material handling operations.

The candidate should have practical knowledge of Poclain, JCB, Loaders, Screening Machines and other heavy equipment and should be capable of independently handling preventive, breakdown, and routine maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of heavy machinery and equipment.
- Hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of:
- Poclain / Excavators
- JCB
- Wheel Loaders
- Screening Machines / Screeners
- Conveyors and other coal-handling equipment
- Other diesel-operated and material-handling machinery
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and operational problems and arrange timely repairs.
- Inspect machinery regularly to identify potential breakdowns and maintenance requirements.
- Handle replacement and maintenance of bearings, belts, hydraulic components, hoses, filters, pumps, shafts, rollers, etc.
- Ensure proper lubrication, servicing and periodic maintenance of equipment.
- Coordinate with operators, mechanics and external service providers for major repairs.




- Maintain records of machine breakdowns, maintenance, spare parts and servicing schedules.
- Monitor machine performance and minimize equipment downtime.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts and maintenance consumables.
- Follow safety procedures while carrying out maintenance activities.
- Maintain maintenance schedules and ensure timely servicing of all equipment.

Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience in maintenance of Poclain, JCB, Loaders and Screening Machines is strongly preferred.
- Experience in coal yard, coal handling, mining, crusher/screening plant or heavy equipment operations will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical and diesel engine systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment breakdowns independently.
- Positive knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ability to manage maintenance activities at site with minimal supervision.
- Good coordination and problem-solving skills.

Qualification Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
