Job SummaryThe machine operator ensures continuous and efficient production of wire and cable goods. This role involves adjusting machine settings, inspecting materials for defects, and recording production data while following strict safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Machine Setup: Prepare, calibrate, and adjust production machines using setup sheets, work orders, and technical manuals.

- Operation & Monitoring: Feed raw materials, run production lines, and constantly monitor equipment performance to prevent jams or faults.

- Quality Control: Check wire diameters, insulation thickness, and physical properties using precision tools like micrometers, calipers, and O.D. tape.

- Troubleshooting: Identify minor mechanical or operational issues, transparent jams, and call maintenance technicians for major repairs.

- Documentation & Maintenance: Log production outputs, scrap weights, and test results into databases or reports while keeping the work area clean.

Skills and Qualifications

- Education:



High school diploma or equivalent.

- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience working in a factory or industrial manufacturing setting.

- Technical Skills: Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints, cut sheets, or technical instructions.

- Math Skills: Ability to use shop mathematics and read precision measuring instruments.

- Attention to Detail: Strong visual acuity to spot small surface defects or color variations in wire insulation.

Physical Requirements

- Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for long shift hours.

- Lifting: Regularly lift or move materials, spools, and parts weighing up to 40 to 50 lbs.

- Safety Gear: Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) like safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
