About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Operations Manager – Logistics to manage day-to-day logistics operations and ensure smooth coordination between clients, transporters, vendors, drivers, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong operational knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to handle multiple shipments and logistics activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily logistics and transportation operations from planning to delivery.
- Coordinate with transporters, drivers, vendors, customers, and internal teams.
- Plan and monitor vehicle allocation, routes, pickups, and deliveries.
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
- Handle day-to-day operational issues and resolve delivery-related challenges.
- Maintain proper documentation for shipments, deliveries, and transportation activities.
- Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure smooth movement of goods.
- Monitor transporter and vendor performance.
- Negotiate and coordinate transportation requirements where required.
- Maintain records of vehicle movements, delivery status, PODs, and other logistics documents.




- Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and logistics requirements.
- Prepare daily/weekly operational reports for management.
- Handle urgent situations and ensure quick resolution of operational problems.

Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or Operations.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation operations.
- Good understanding of vehicle planning, dispatch, delivery, and shipment tracking.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Experience in handling transporters, drivers, and logistics vendors will be preferred.
- Candidates who have worked in a fast-paced logistics or supply chain workplace are preferred.
