Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced Linux Systems Administrators / Cloud Engineers to join our client's Technology Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience administering enterprise Linux environments, managing cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and automating operational tasks. This role focuses on maintaining system reliability, performing monthly patching, ensuring security compliance, and supporting production infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support enterprise Linux environments, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Oracle Linux, Ubuntu, and Debian.

- Perform monthly Linux server patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.

- Build and maintain automation using Ansible and Bash scripting (Python is a plus).

- Troubleshoot Linux operating system, middleware, application, and networking issues.

- Manage and support cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Information Security teams to maintain system security and compliance.

- Build, configure, and maintain infrastructure for new projects and proof-of-concept (POC) environments.

- Create technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

- Participate in production support, incident response, and on-call activities as required.





- Perform day-to-day server administration and other operational tasks within the Technology Operations team.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of Linux System Administration experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with RHEL, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu, and Debian.

- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Experience with Linux server patching, security updates, and vulnerability remediation.

- Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.

- Robust Bash scripting skills (Python is preferred).

- Excellent troubleshooting skills across operating systems, applications, and networking.

- Experience supporting enterprise production environments.

Preferred Skills

- Windows Server Administration.

- Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- VMware vSphere administration.

- AWS cloud exposure.

- Git / GitLab.

- Kubernetes or container platform experience.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Strong operational mindset with experience supporting mission-critical infrastructure.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.

- Strong communication and documentation skills.

- Willingness to work IST hours and participate in on-call support when required.
