Role Description The Line Producer will oversee the day-to-day management of animation and VFX projects, ensuring schedules, budgets, and resources are aligned with production goals. This full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata involves coordinating between creative, technical, and administrative teams, tracking project milestones, and resolving production issues to keep work on time and within budget.

The Line

Producer will prepare and maintain production reports, manage vendor relationships, and support hiring and allocation of artists and technicians as needed. The role includes monitoring workflow efficiency, enforcing pipeline and quality standards, and communicating updates and risks to senior management.

Producer will contribute to process improvements and help maintain a productive, collaborative studio environment.

Qualifications

- Robust production management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning for animation or VFX projects.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (artists, technicians, vendors) and managing day-to-day studio operations.
- Proficiency with production tracking tools, spreadsheets, and project management software commonly used in animation/VFX pipelines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly convey timelines, risks, and expectations.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.
- Prior experience as a Line Producer, Production Manager, or similar role in an animation, gaming, or VFX studio is highly beneficial.
- Understanding of animation and VFX workflows, pipelines, and terminology, with the ability to collaborate effectively with creative and technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in film production, animation, media, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, with flexibility to manage shifting priorities and production needs.
