What you'll do

Roles and Responsibilities

- Coordinate with government agencies for approvals, licenses, and permits required for real estate projects.
- Manage land acquisitions by coordinating with vendors from identification to closure, conducting site visits, and ensuring timely possession of acquired lands.
- Prepare necessary documents for land registration and obtain required approvals from relevant authorities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle according to RERA and other relevant laws.
- Develop strong relationships with local bodies, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution
- Government Liaison - Maintain strong relationships with Fire Department, Pollution Control Board, Electricity Department, Water Department, Revenue Department, and other statutory authorities.
- Statutory Approvals - Obtain all required approvals such as layout plans, building plans, occupancy certificate (OC), completion certificate (CC), NOCs, and utility connections within the defined timelines
- Regulatory Compliance - Ensure compliance with RERA, environmental regulations, building by-laws, and other statutory requirements.
- Documentation Management - Prepare, verify, submit, and maintain all approval-related documents, agreements, permissions, and government correspondence.
- Follow-up & Coordination -- Coordinate with architects, consultants, legal, engineering, and project teams to expedite approvals and resolve regulatory issues.
- Issue Resolution - Resolve objections, queries, and compliance issues raised by government authorities without delaying project schedules.
- Stakeholder Management - Build and maintain effective relationships with government officials, consultants, and external agencies.




- Project Timeline Support - Ensure approvals are secured as per the project schedule to avoid delays in construction and handover
- MIS & Reporting - Submit weekly/monthly reports on approval status, pending issues, risks, and action plans to management.
- Cost & Risk Management - Minimize approval-related delays, penalties, and compliance risks while optimizing liaising costs.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 3-6 years of experience in Government Liaison & Land Acquisition or related field.
- Strong understanding of land acquisition procedures, including due diligence checks and documentation requirements.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with government officials at various levels.
- Ability to analyse complex data sets to identify potential risks and opportunities during property valuations.
