Key Responsibilities
- Property Due Diligence &
- Documentation:
Conduct legal due diligence and oversee end-to-end documentation for property acquisitions across Pan-India, with a focus on North India, East India, and Gujarat.
- Transaction Finalization: Structure, negotiate, and finalize MOUs, sale deeds, lease deeds, and all related property transaction documents.
- Strategic Problem-Solving: Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to resolve complex legal/property issues and create long-term value for the organization.
- Process &
- System Enhancement:
Lead initiatives to establish best-in-class systems, processes, and workflows to improve team performance and governance.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary legal liaison for internal Business Development teams as well as external Law Firms, Advocates, Solicitors, and Developers.
Qualifications &
- Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) required.
- Work Experience: Minimum 15+ years of experience in a Real Estate company or Large Retail enterprise.
Key Skills &
- Competencies:
- Commercial Drafting (Must-Have): Proven, exceptional skills in drafting complex commercial real estate agreements.
- Property &
- Revenue Laws:
In-depth knowledge of property laws, title searches, and revenue-related proceedings.
- Due Diligence &
- Revenue Records:
Expert proficiency in conducting title search/legal due diligence and interpreting local revenue records across various states.
- Contract Negotiation: Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex contracts directly with developers, solicitors, and law firms.
- Language Proficiency: Must be able to read and comprehend written Hindi.
