Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Officer to manage the organization's legal affairs, ensure regulatory compliance, support contract management, and coordinate litigation matters. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of commercial laws, labour laws, legal drafting, and litigation management, preferably within the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, vet, and negotiate contracts, agreements, NDAs, MOUs, purchase agreements, and other legal documents.

- Conduct legal due diligence and document verification for business transactions.

- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, regulatory, and corporate legal requirements.

- Manage labour law compliance, including the implementation of the Current Labour Codes and other employment-related legislations.

- Coordinate with panel advocates on civil, commercial, arbitration, cheque dishonour (NI Act), SARFAESI, and other legal matters.

- Draft legal notices,



replies, legal opinions, and internal advisory notes.

- Handle property-related legal documentation, including lease deeds, leave & license agreements, sale deeds, and title verification.

- Liaise with government departments, regulatory authorities, external legal counsel, and other stakeholders.

- Maintain litigation records, legal databases, compliance registers, and document repositories.

- Conduct legal research, assess legal risks, and provide practical legal advice to management and business teams.

- Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the business and recommend compliance measures.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
