Job Title: Legal Intern (CHS Redevelopment & Tendering) – Marathi Mandatory

Job Overview

We are looking for a Legal Intern to assist in Co-operative Housing Society (CHS) Redevelopment, Tendering Processes, and Real Estate Legal Compliance . The role offers hands-on exposure to society laws, developer agreements, tender drafting, liaisoning procedures, and legal documentation.

Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking Marathi is mandatory , as the role involves interacting with society members, office bearers, government authorities, and reviewing Marathi legal documents.

Key Responsibilities1. CHS Redevelopment Legal Support

Assist in drafting and reviewing:

- Development Agreements
- Permanent Alternate Accommodation Agreements (PAAA)
- Power of Attorney (POA)
- Society Resolutions & Special General Body Meeting (SGBM) Minutes
- Redevelopment Notices and Legal Correspondence (English & Marathi)

Study and apply provisions under:
- Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act
- Redevelopment Guidelines (Section 79A and related provisions)
- Applicable Government Circulars

1. Tendering & Documentation

Assist in preparation of:
- Tender Documents
- Notice Inviting Tender (NIT)
- Bid Comparison Sheets
- Legal Clauses and Commercial Terms

Assist in handling:
- Pre-bid Queries
- Addendums / Amendments
- EMD Conditions and Compliance

1. Legal Due Diligence

Verify and review:
- Title Reports
- Conveyance Deeds
- Property Cards
- 7/12 Extracts
- CTS Plans and Revenue Documents

Assist in:
- Developer Background Verification
- Legal Risk Assessment
- Due Diligence Reports

1. Regulatory & Compliance Work





Gain exposure to:
- RERA Act
- Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act
- Contract Law
- Property Law
- Development Control Regulations

Assist in:
- Compliance Tracking
- Government Approvals
- Legal Documentation Management

1. Coordination & Liaisoning

Coordinate with:
- Architects
- Project Management Consultants (PMC)
- Legal Consultants
- Developers
- Society Managing Committees

Support in preparing:
- Client Communications
- Legal Summaries
- Presentations
- Meeting Minutes

Skills & Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed LLB
- Strong interest in Real Estate, Redevelopment, and Property Law
- Basic understanding of:
- Contract Drafting
- Property Documentation
- Legal Research
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- Good proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
- Marathi language is mandatory (Read, Write & Speak) .
- Ability to draft and understand legal correspondence in Marathi and communicate effectively with Co-operative Housing Societies and government authorities.

Internship Details
- Duration: 3 to 6 Months
- Stipend: As per company standards
- Location: CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai
