Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute procurement strategies for leather, soles, heels, insoles, accessories, packaging, and other footwear materials.

Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable domestic and international suppliers.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts to achieve cost savings.

Coordinate with product development, merchandising, production, quality, and planning teams to ensure timely material availability.

Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases to avoid shortages or excess stock.

Ensure purchased materials meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Track market trends, raw material pricing, and supplier performance.

Resolve supplier-related issues involving quality, delivery, and compliance.

Prepare purchase orders, maintain procurement records, and generate MIS reports.





Ensure procurement complies with company policies and budget targets.

Required Skills

Solid knowledge of leather ladies' footwear materials and components.

Expertise in vendor development and supplier relationship management.

Excellent negotiation and cost-control skills.

Understanding of footwear manufacturing processes.

Strong analytical, planning, and inventory management abilities.

Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Effective communication and team coordination skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Leather Technology, Footwear Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

815 years of relevant purchasing experience in the leather ladies' footwear industry.
