Make an impact with our Business Advisory Services (BAS)—which includes Digital, Consulting, and Enterprise Risk Services (ERS). Seeking a Learning & Development Manager to design, build, and lead a comprehensive learning and development strategy that
supports the growth, advancement, and performance of our people and our business. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for building an integrated, BAS‑wide L&D; capability while also supporting service‑specific
learning needs. The successful candidate will create the BAS L&D; strategy from the ground up and operate the programs on an ongoing basis. The role balances strategy, execution, stakeholder collaboration, and operational
excellence—ensuring our teams have the technical, professional, consulting, and leadership capabilities needed today and in the future.
Responsibilities
Business Advisory Services Learning & Development Strategy
· Design and lead a comprehensive BAS‑wide L&D; strategy aligned to business goals, growth plans, and talent needs across Digital, Consulting, and ERS, in alignment with National L&D.;
· Develop a common learning framework that enables consistency across BAS while allowing for service‑line‑specific depth and specialization, particularly for deep technical and vendor‑driven requirements.
· Build an integrated learning ecosystem that includes:
o Technical and functional skills o Certifications and vendor‑required training o Role based soft skills, consulting, and leadership capabilities
· Ensure alignment with external vendor, regulatory, and professional body requirements, including certification and compliance obligations.
Program Design & Delivery
· Build, launch, and continuously operate BAS learning programs, including onboarding, role‑based learning paths, leadership development, and advanced technical or functional training.
· Develop and maintain clear, transparent career growth pathways, aligned to skills, competencies, and progression expectations within each service line.
· Lead the development and ongoing evolution of service‑line growth frameworks, mapping competencies and career levels to learning programs.
· Leverage a blended approach using internal expertise, national programming, external providers, vendor platforms, and custom‑built learning where appropriate.
Training Operations & Compliance
· Lead tracking, governance, and reporting of:
o Training completion o Certifications and accreditations o Compliance with firm, partner, regulatory, and vendor requirements
· Partner with BAS leadership, Partners, and Resourcing teams to plan, prioritize, and schedule training to minimize client delivery impact while maximizing participation.
· Ensure learning records are accurate, transparent, and audit‑ready.
Stakeholder Collaboration
· Partner closely with:
o BAS leadership across Digital, Consulting, and ERS o Performance coaches and people leaders o National Learning & Development o HC and Talent teams o External vendors, certification bodies, and training partners
· Work with National L&D; to:
o Leverage firm‑wide learning platforms and assets o Co‑develop custom content where service‑specific needs exist o Align BAS learning priorities with firm standards, governance, and reporting
· Support the development of national and global BAS training requirements, ensuring consistency while allowing for regional differences.
Forward‑Looking Capability Development
· Partner with BAS leadership to take a forward view of emerging market, regulatory, technology, and client needs across service lines.
· Proactively design learning programs that build future‑ready capabilities before skill gaps emerge.
· Monitor industry trends, certifications, and best practices across Digital, Consulting, and ERS to keep BAS competitive and relevant.
Evaluation, Metrics & ROI
· Define and track learning effectiveness and ROI using qualitative and quantitative measures.
· Evaluate program impact on:
o Skill and capability development o Career progression and readiness o Talent retention and engagement o Business and client outcomes
· Continuously improve learning programs based on data, feedback, and business results.
Requirements
Skills
Experience & Expertise
· 8+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Organizational Development within qualified services, consulting, Digital, or risk‑based environments.
· Proven experience building and operating an L&D; strategy and programs, ideally across multiple service lines.
· Strong understanding of:
o Professional services and consulting career models o Digital and technical skill development o Certification, regulatory, and vendor‑driven training ecosystems
· Experience partnering with senior leaders and translating business strategy into impactful learning priorities.
· Experience supporting multi‑region or global learning programs.
· Familiarity with Digital platforms, technologies, advisory services, or risk and compliance environments is an asset.

Educational Qualifications
· Bachelor of Commerce, Business Administration or equivalent
