Job Summary/About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to drive the development of next-generation tools for the insurance industry. In this role, you will collaborate with engineering managers, product managers, and key business stakeholders to translate complex business needs into innovative technical solutions.



You will lead projects, mentor engineers, and ensure the highest standards of code quality and system architecture.

Required Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is preferred

Required Experience and skills

- 6+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Proven experience collaborating with product managers and business stakeholders
- Solid expertise in Python, Angular and proficiency with SQL databases
- Solid understanding of Systems Architecture and distributed systems design
- Hands-on experience with Azure or other cloud-based application development environments
- Track record of leading teams through the full software development lifecycle
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence technical direction

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with technical leaders and product managers to design and deliver scalable technical solutions
- Lead large, complex projects involving multiple developers across teams
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical leadership to peers and junior engineers
- Establish and maintain code quality, testing, and documentation standards in line with organizational guidelines
- Actively contribute to development by writing and reviewing code
- Drive architectural decisions and ensure system scalability and reliability
