Sr / Lead SAP FICO Consultant

· Bachelors or Master's degree with 8+years of experience SAP FICO consulting and implementation experience.

· Multiple end-to-end SAP implementation and support project experience.

· SAP S/4HANA Finance experience in recent projects

· Robust knowledge of various compliance, taxation, and statutory reporting.

· The role involves working closely with finance stakeholders, managing project delivery, mentoring team members, and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and PS.

· Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.

· Gather business requirements and conduct fit-gap analysis with finance stakeholders.

· Configure and customize SAP FICO ie GL, AR, AP, Taxation, Cost and Profit centre accounting, Product Costing and few more

· Integrated SAP FICO with MM, SD, PP, and PS modules.

· Conducted business workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution design sessions.

· Managed month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

· Developed functional specifications and coordinated with ABAP teams for custom enhancements.





· Led SIT, UAT, cutover, and post-go-live support activities.

· Mentored SAP FICO consultants and coordinated offshore/onshore delivery teams.

· Improved finance processes by implementing SAP best practices and automation.

· Lead workshops, blueprinting sessions, and solution design discussions with business users.

· Perform configuration, testing (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT), defect resolution, and production deployment.

· Support data migration, cutover planning, and go-live activities.

· Analyze production issues and provide root cause analysis and permanent solutions.

· Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory regulations, taxation, and audit requirements.

· Mentor junior consultants and review their deliverables.

· Coordinate with project managers, business teams, and offshore/onshore resources.

· Prepare project documentation, training materials, and user manuals.

· Drive continuous process improvement and SAP best practices.
