Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Lead QA/QC Engineer to join our growing project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and managing quality assurance and quality control systems at project sites, ensuring compliance with international standards, client specifications, and statutory regulations. This role demands hands-on field experience in EPC projects, particularly in tankage works within the hydrocarbon sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee all QA/QC activities across assigned project(s).
- Develop and implement project-specific Quality Plans, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Work Procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to project specifications, applicable codes (API 650/653, ASME, IS standards), and client quality requirements.
- Conduct and coordinate stage-wise inspections for materials, welding, NDT,



painting/coating, and mechanical completions.
- Review and approve WPS, PQRs, and welder qualifications.
- Monitor subcontractor quality performance and conduct regular audits.
- Manage NCRs, corrective/preventive actions, and maintain QA/QC logs and documentation.
- Interface with client representatives and third-party inspectors for approvals and clarifications.
- Guide and mentor QA/QC engineers and site inspectors across various locations.
- Compile final project Quality Dossiers and ensure proper handover to the client.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10–12 years of experience in QA/QC roles in EPC projects, specifically tankage works in hydrocarbon sector.
- Certification in ASNT Level II in RT, UT, MPT, LPT is preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, welding codes (AWS/API), and inspection methods.
- Solid understanding of quality systems, construction standards, and documentation practices.
- Willingness to travel and work at pan-India project sites as required.
