Position: Lead Member – Proposal Engineering (PW812FT RM 4310)

Qualification : B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Production, Automation, or related engineering discipline.

Experience

- 8 to 12 years of experience in Proposal Engineering, Machine Design

- Experience in system design, machine architecture, and component selection, with the ability to develop technical solutions and prepare proposals based on machine concepts

- Experience in Consumer Electronics Manufacturing Automation, Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), Assembly Automation, Testing Automation, Material Handling Systems, and Robotics.

- Exposure to smart phone, electronics, audio products, PCBA assembly, and consumer electronics manufacturing processes preferred.

Purpose of the Role

Develop competitive techno-commercial proposals for consumer electronics automation projects by analyzing customer requirements, conceptualizing automation solutions, preparing cost estimates, and supporting technical discussions to secure business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Study RFQs, customer specifications, and technical requirements.

- Develop automation concepts and solutions for consumer electronics manufacturing applications.

- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, cost estimates, and project budgets.

- Perform feasibility studies, cycle time analysis, and capacity calculations.

- Coordinate with Mechanical Design, Controls, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sales teams.

- Support customers during technical discussions and proposal reviews.

- Obtain quotations from vendors and suppliers for costing purposes.





- Drive value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.

- Ensure timely submission of accurate and competitive proposals.
