- Key Responsibilities:

- Technology Identification, Evaluation and Implementation of Automation projects on high speed Biscuit, Cake & Rusk lines

- Technology Identification & Evaluation for New Products, Product and Packaging changes and New processes

- Prepare layouts, design specifications and cost estimation for new projects, new products, new processes and changes

- Conduct FAT and provide necessary feedback to OEMs for corrections in equipment design and fabrication

- Participate in product development and packaging development trials for new products, new processes and changes

- Provide necessary support during the installation and commissioning of equipment during project phase





- Support in SAT and sign off on equipment delivery to meet the design specifications

- Ensure plant and machinery costs are within the project cost estimate as per approved capex

- Support in troubleshooting during scale up phase of the project along with equipment suppliers

- Preparing cost estimate, capability building, preparing execution network, conducting plant trials for feasibility studies and commercialization of new products. Building trial reports and variability analysis.

- Participate in cross functional Project Review Meetings and Stage Gate Meetings for Innovation projects, Product and Packaging change projects and Recent Line start ups

- Responsible for ensuring that product and packaging meets specifications, conversion cost standards and wastage standards during the scale up process

- Responsible for ensuring that scale up costs are budgeted for respective projects and actual costs are well within the budget.

- Responsible for replication of process and technology from one line to another within the wafers category

- Education QualificationB.E / B.Tech - Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering

- Experience (in years)10-15 years of Experience in Food Manufacturing within Engineering/Projects/Automation function and 3-5 years in Biscuit, Cake, Rusk or similar products in FMCG industry

3-5 years Experience in End-of-Line Automation and Robotic applications on high speed packaging lines
