Role Description We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong experience in Fluent Commerce OMS, Kotlin, Spring Boot/Micronaut, APIs, and system integrations. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable order management solutions, backend services, and integrations across eCommerce, ERP, POS, WMS, and third-party systems.

Primary Skills

Robust hands-on experience with Fluent Commerce Order Management System (OMS).

Experience in designing and developing Order Management workflows, including order orchestration, fulfillment, inventory, and returns. Strong programming experience in Kotlin. Hands-on experience with Spring Boot or Micronaut. Strong expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs.

Experience building integrations between Fluent Commerce and enterprise systems such as eCommerce platforms, ERP, POS, WMS, and third-party applications.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, configure, and customize solutions on the Fluent Commerce platform. Build and support backend services and OMS workflows related to order orchestration, fulfillment, inventory, and returns. Develop and maintain integrations using Kotlin, Spring Boot/Micronaut, REST APIs, and GraphQL.





Translate business requirements into scalable software solutions and technical designs. Participate in application design, solution architecture, code reviews, and technical discussions. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize application performance.

Follow software engineering best practices, including clean coding, version control, testing, CI/CD, and documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, business, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams.

Technical Skills Fluent

Commerce OMS Kotlin Spring Boot / Micronaut RESTful APIs GraphQL Microservices Architecture Event-Driven Systems System Integration Git and CI/CD Pipelines Cloud Platforms, preferably AWS Preferred Skills Experience in Retail, eCommerce, or Omnichannel Commerce domains. Knowledge of Order Lifecycle Management and Inventory Management.

Experience with AWS services. Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes. Understanding of scalable backend architecture and distributed systems.
