Responsibilities

- Leads the design and evolution of shared platform capabilities, standards, and engineering patterns that support consistent delivery across products and teams.

- Leads complex platform initiatives that improve scalability, reliability, deployment consistency, observability, and service enablement across environments.

- Defines and advances technical priorities for platform components, tooling, automation, and operational practices to support current and future business needs.

- Influences engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders to adopt platform standards, implementation approaches, and guardrails that improve consistency and reduce duplication.

- Resolves complex platform engineering issues by analyzing technical and operational constraints, identifying root causes, and shaping durable solutions.

- Guides engineers and peers on platform practices, architecture decisions,



and implementation approaches without formal people-management accountability.

- Builds reusable platform patterns, engineering guardrails, and enablement assets that improve consistency, reduce delivery friction, and support broader platform adoption across teams.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.

- Masters degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

- 6+ years of experience in platform engineering, software engineering, infrastructure engineering, site reliability engineering, or a related field required.

- Certification in cloud platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, site reliability engineering, or equivalent preferred.
