Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Migration Engineer to drive end-to-end data migration initiatives for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ETL, Azure Databricks, data quality, data cleansing, survivorship, and deduplication. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, and QA teams to ensure accurate, secure, and high-quality data migration.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end data migration projects from planning through production deployment.
- Design and develop ETL pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading large datasets.
- Build and optimize data migration solutions using Azure Databricks.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
- Define and implement data survivorship and deduplication rules.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve data migration quality issues.
- Collaborate with business users to validate migration outcomes and ensure data integrity.
- Work closely with QA teams to support testing and defect resolution.
- Create migration strategies,



mapping documents, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance and security standards.

Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Data Migration and ETL.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
- Expertise in ETL tools and SQL.
- Solid understanding of data quality, data profiling, reconciliation, and validation.
- Experience implementing survivorship and deduplication logic.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong stakeholder communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM).
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or Spark.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Nice to Have
- Microsoft Azure Data Engineer certifications.
- Experience with enterprise-scale cloud migration projects.
