We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Lead Accountant with strong expertise in Epicor ERP to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing accounting operations using Epicor, possess strong knowledge of financial reporting, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting supporting international business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations using Epicor ERP .
- Maintain the General Ledger (GL) and ensure accurate financial record keeping.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Conduct bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Identify process improvements and optimize accounting workflows within Epicor ERP.
- Assist finance leadership with management reports and business insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting and system-related issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA Inter/MBA Finance is an added advantage).
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience working on Epicor ERP.
- Strong understanding of General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.
- Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare management reports.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead accounting activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting US or international accounting operations.
- Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS.
- Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or product-based organizations using Epicor ERP.
- Prior experience mentoring junior accounting professionals.
