Role Description The Launching Manager will oversee and manage the end-to-end launching operations for bridge and elevated structure projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely execution in accordance with design specifications and project plans. This full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi includes planning launching sequences, supervising erection activities, coordinating with design, construction, and safety teams, and monitoring equipment utilization and maintenance.

The role involves preparing method statements,



reviewing drawings, conducting risk assessments, and implementing quality and safety standards at the site.

The Launching

Manager will track progress, resolve technical and operational issues, manage subcontractors and vendors, and support project reporting and documentation. The position requires close coordination with client representatives, consultants, and internal stakeholders to achieve project milestones within agreed timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

- Strong technical expertise in bridge construction, launching girder operations, and erection of precast segments, with the ability to interpret structural and construction drawings.
- Proficiency in project planning and site management, including scheduling, resource allocation, equipment planning, and coordination of multi-disciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and monitor safety, quality, and compliance standards on construction sites, including risk assessments and method statements.
- Effective leadership, people management, and communication skills to supervise site teams, interact with clients and consultants, and resolve day-to-day issues.
- Hands-on experience with heavy lifting equipment, launching girders, cranes, and related tools, including troubleshooting and coordination of maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field; prior experience in large infrastructure, metro, or bridge projects is highly desirable.
- Comfort working in an on-site environment, with readiness to work extended hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
