Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Laparoscopic Surgeon based in Jaipur.

The Laparoscopic

Surgeon will perform minimally invasive surgical procedures, including pre-operative assessment, intra-operative management, and post-operative follow-up. Daily responsibilities include evaluating patients, interpreting diagnostic tests, planning appropriate surgical interventions, and coordinating with anesthesiology, nursing, and home care teams to ensure seamless continuity of care. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records, adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards, and participating in case discussions and quality improvement initiatives. The surgeon will provide guidance to patients and families regarding treatment options, recovery plans, and home-based care requirements when applicable.

Qualifications

- Advanced clinical and surgical skills in laparoscopic procedures, with robust diagnostic and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in patient evaluation, pre-operative planning,



and post-operative management, including pain control and complication monitoring.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, physiotherapists, and home health aides.
- Strong communication skills to counsel patients and families, explain procedures and risks, and provide clear follow-up instructions.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in General Surgery or related specialty, with formal training in laparoscopic surgery.
- Valid medical registration and appropriate surgical licensure as per local regulatory requirements.
- Experience in hospital or surgical center settings; prior exposure to home health or continuity-of-care models is an advantage.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, infection control, and continuous professional development.
