Job Title: Steward

Department: Food & Beverage / Dietary Department

Reports To: F&B; Manager / Supervisor

Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth functioning of the hospital kitchen and dining service areas. The steward supports food service operations by ensuring proper cleaning of utensils, equipment, and kitchen areas while following food safety and hygiene standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, plates, trays, and equipment.
- Wash and maintain kitchen vessels, cutlery, and service items.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dishwashing area, and storage areas.
- Assist in patient food service and meal distribution as required.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of kitchen waste.




- Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards as per hospital policies.
- Support kitchen staff during meal preparation and service timings.
- Follow infection control and food safety guidelines.
- Report damaged equipment or maintenance issues to supervisors.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and professional behavior.

Qualification & Skills:

- Minimum education: 10th Pass preferred.
- Previous experience in hospital/hotel kitchen is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in shifts.
- Positive teamwork and discipline.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
