The Kitchen Helper assists chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining cleanliness, preparing ingredients, handling kitchen equipment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations. The role is essential for maintaining hygiene standards and supporting efficient food production.

Key Responsibilities

- Wash and clean vegetables, fruits, and other food items as instructed by chefs.
- Assist in basic food preparation such as cutting, peeling, and sorting ingredients.
- Clean kitchen utensils, dishes, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, worktables, storage areas, and waste disposal areas.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food items according to hygiene standards.
- Dispose of kitchen waste safely and maintain waste segregation practices.
- Refill kitchen supplies such as water, cleaning materials, and food containers when required.
- Assist chefs during busy service periods and support kitchen operations as directed.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
- Report any breakages,



equipment issues, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.

Requirements
- Minimum education: SSLC / High School preferred.
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or catering kitchen is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
- Good teamwork and willingness to learn.

Working Conditions
