The candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring accurate results, and maintaining the quality of laboratory operations. The Technician will work closely with other healthcare professionals to support diagnosis and treatment plans and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct laboratory tests in various departments such as hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and immunology.
- Prepare and analyze samples and specimens, ensuring their proper handling and storage.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and perform routine maintenance and calibrations as needed.
- Assist in workflow management and adhere to quality control protocols to ensure accuracy in all laboratory results.
- Document and report test results in a timely manner to physicians and healthcare teams.
- Collaborate with pathologists and physicians to discuss results and assist in further investigations if necessary.

Skills and Tools Required:

- A degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, microscopes, and analyzers.
- Knowledge of laboratory protocols and safety guidelines.
- Proficiency in using laboratory information systems (LIS) for data entry and result reporting.
- Effective communication skills to interact with medical staff and patients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:
