Junior Research Associate

About the role:

As a Research Associate , you will play a key role in supporting the design, implementation, and evaluation of product initiatives. You will work across the research lifecycle from instrument design to data analysis using quantitative methods to generate actionable insights on how our product influences children's wellbeing. This role is ideal for someone who is data-driven, impact-oriented, and excited to contribute to real-world change in child development and public health outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

● Bachelor's and Master's degree (preferred) in Psychology/ Public Health/ Social Sciences/ Behavioral Economics/ Public Policy/ Cognitive Science/ or Applied Research

● Minimum 2 years of experience in research, monitoring and evaluation, or social impact measurement

● Strong knowledge of quantitative research methodologies

● Proficiency in data analysis tools: SPSS, R, or STATA

● Experience with survey design and administration tools such as Qualtrics or KoboToolbox

● Skilled in data visualization and reporting using Power BI or Tableau

● Familiarity with indicator setting, logic models, logframes,



and Theory of Change frameworks

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of quantitative and mixed-method research methodologies

Ability to work with data analysts to interpret various child health outcomes

Exposure to M&E; tools such as logframes, Theory of Change, or outcome indicators

Basic proficiency in tools like SPSS, R, or Excel for physiological data interpretation

Solid analytical thinking, documentation, and reporting skills

Key responsibilities:

● Support the design of impact studies, including baseline and endline evaluations

● Develop and administer surveys, questionnaires, and other data collection tools using softwares like KoboToolbox and Qualtrics

● Conduct quantitative data analysis using SPSS, R, or STATA

● Assist in indicator definition, logic model development, and Theory of Change tracking

● Create impact dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau or Power BI

● Ensure research protocols are in standard with research ethics.

● Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders
