Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Junior HR Executive with 0-1 years of experience in payroll operations, hiring, recruitment, strategic talent management, and performance management. The ideal candidate should hold a Master’s degree in Human Resources or possess significant relevant HR experience, particularly within the Health Care industry. This multifaceted role requires expertise in payroll management, employee recruitment, compensation and benefits, talent development, employee retention strategies, and effective event planning.
Knowledge of performance management appraisal systems and experience with GreytHR software are key to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management: Oversee and manage the full payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursements. Handle deductions, bonuses, overtime, and statutory benefits in line with company policies.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding payroll, compensation, and employee benefits. Prepare regular payroll and tax reports for internal stakeholders and government filing.
- Hiring and Recruitment: Lead the recruitment process by creating compelling job descriptions, posting positions, sourcing talent, and conducting interviews. Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure recruitment strategies align with the company’s talent needs.
- Job Descriptions: Develop detailed and compelling job descriptions to attract top talent. Collaborate with department heads to ensure job descriptions are aligned with organizational needs and expectations.
- Onboarding & Training: Design and implement effective onboarding and training programs to ensure new hires are well-integrated and equipped for success. Ensure the company culture is effectively communicated and upheld.
- Strategic Talent Management: Develop and execute strategies for identifying, developing, and retaining top talent.
Implement succession planning and leadership development programs to build a strong talent pipeline for the future.
- Employee Retention Strategies: Work to increase employee engagement and retention through targeted programs such as performance management, career development opportunities, and feedback mechanisms.
- Compensation and Benefits Management: Administer employee compensation structures, benefits programs, and ensure they are competitive within the market. Conduct compensation reviews and ensure alignment with company policies and industry standards.
- Performance Management Appraisal System: Oversee and enhance the performance management appraisal system to ensure regular performance reviews, feedback, and goal-setting for employees. Drive improvements in employee performance and align individual goals with company objectives.
- Event Planning & Scheduling: Streamline event planning and scheduling for company-wide events such as team-building activities, employee recognition programs, and other HR-driven initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with leadership teams and other HR functions to integrate recruitment, payroll, and talent management efforts. Maintain open lines of communication across departments to support organizational goals.
Skills & Qualifications:
- HR experience in Health Care: Minimum of 0-1 years of HR experience in the healthcare industry is required.
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, OR equivalent skilled HR experience (0-1 years).
- Or Bachelor's degree
- 0-1 years of HR experience,
particularly in payroll management, hiring/recruitment, talent management, employee retention, and performance management.
- Expertise in payroll software, HRIS systems, and recruiting tools (e.g., ADP, SAP, Workday, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Experience with Certified GreytHR software or similar HR software tools for payroll, performance management, and HR analytics.
- In-depth understanding of payroll compliance,
labor laws, and employee compensation strategies.talent management.
- Ability to create compelling job descriptions and lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent.
- Solid onboarding and training program development skills.
- Proven track record of successful employee retention strategies and
- Ability to oversee and enhance performance management systems, including conducting performance appraisals and setting goals.
- Excellent organizational and event planning skills to coordinate HR-related events.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with employees, senior management, and candidates.Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in payroll management (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional - CPP) or recruitment-related certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Experience in designing employee development programs and succession planning.
- Knowledge of compensation benchmarking and market trends.
